बहि:श्रोणिफलक धमनी वंक्षणी स्नायु के नीचे से निकलकर ऊरु में आ जाती है और उरुधमनी (Femoral Artery) कहलाती है, जो उरु के समने की ओर सीधी नीचे उसके पीछे की ओर चली जाती है और जानुपृष्ठ पर पहुंचकर, जानुपश्च (popliteal) धमनी कही जाती है।

ऊरु में उतरने के पश्चात् ही उससे नितलू (profunda) शाखा निकलती है, जिसकी परिवेष्ठक (circumflex) और वेधक (perforating) शाखाएँ ऊरु की पेशियों में तथा अस्थि की रुधिर पहुँचाती हैं।

खाज दो अंगुलियों के बीच में किनारे पर, कलाई पर या कोहनी के पीछे, ऊरु मूल (ग्रोइन) तथा घुटनों पर और नितंबों पर छोटे गुमड़ा (बंप) और फफोले लिए हुए होते हैं।
