चित्रकला पर पहले भारतीय ग्रंथ 'चित्र लक्षण' में एक कथा का उल्लेख आता है, वह इस प्रकार है- एक राजा के पुरोहित का बेटा मर गया।



रोमन काथलिक चर्च के परमाधिकारी को संत पापा (पिता) 'होली फादर' अथवा पोप कहते हैं।
