यमुना किनारे हिंडोला झूलते हुए राधा-कृष्ण का यह वर्णन बहुत सुन्दर है।

हिंडोला के झूमर बहुत सरस होते हैं, जैसे 'छोटका देवर रामा बड़ा रे रंगिलवा, रेसम के डोरियवा देवरा बान्हथि हिंडोरवा'।

टेड़ी दीवारों के कारण इस महल को हिंडोला महल कहा जाता है।

इसके अंतर्गत सरल संरचना के पट्टा और हिंडोला (belt and cradle) अभिकल्प से लेकर पोत के प्रणोदक दंड (propeller shaft) द्वारा पारेषित बलघूर्ण के मापन में प्रयुक्त, जटिल दंड डाइनेमोमीटर (shaft) तक सम्मिलित हैं।

इन कमरों के नाम बड़े ही राजसी शैली में रखे गए हैं जसे हिंडोला महल और सितारा महल।

यह शव यात्रा देवप्रयाग, हिंडोलाखाल, नन्द गाँव- बडकोट होते हुए तीसरे दिवस 14 जनवरी को रियासत की राजधानी टिहरी पहुंची. जहाँ उनका दाह संस्कार भिलंगना और भागीरथी के संगम पर हुआ. जनता के आक्रोश से भयभीत शाही फौज ने उसी दिन आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया और आजाद पंचायत सरकार की स्थापना हो गयी. 1 अगस्त 1949 को रियासत टिहरी का भारत संघ में वैधानिक विलय हो गया.।

ख़िलजी शासकों द्वारा बनाए गए इस नगर में जहाज और हिंडोला महल खास हैं।

पावस ॠतु में गाए जाने वाले कजरी, झूला, हिंडोला, आल्हा आदि इसके प्रमाण हैं।

After Euclid Beach Park ceased operation, this carousel was sold and moved to Palace Playland in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, where it operated until 1996.

In 1997, the Euclid Beach Park Nuts (today called Euclid Beach Park Now) and the Trust for Public Land partnered to acquire the carousel and bring it back to Cleveland.

On June 30, 2010, the Western Reserve Historical Society (WRHS), which owns the carousel horses, chariots, and mechanism, announced a collaboration with Cleveland's Euclid Beach Park Carousel Society and Euclid Beach Park Now to restore, reassemble, and operate the carousel at the Historical Society's location in University Circle.

Since that time, the Euclid Beach Carousel Society entered into a contract with a firm which designs and builds new wooden carousels as well as restores old carousels.

On Tuesday, April 17, 2012 the WRHS broke ground for the construction of a glass pavilion to house the restored and reassembled carousel.
