सभी प्रकार के उदरीय शल्यक्रिया (abdominal surgery) की तरह ही सीज़ेरियन सेक्शन में ऑपरेशन-पश्चात के चिपकाव, चीरा से उत्पन्न हर्निया (जिसके लिए शल्य-चिकित्सीय सुधार की आवश्यकता होती है) तथा घाव वाले संक्रमणों का खतरा रहता है।

हर्निया पूरी तरह मिट जाता है।

सावधानियां: उच्च रक्तचाप, हृदय रोगी, हर्निया, अल्सर, मिर्गी स्ट्रोक वाले और गर्भवती महिलाएं इसका अभ्यास ना करें।

9. उर्वी हर्निया, कंकनाभिका (pectineal) हर्निया भी इसी के अन्तर्गत आता है।

हर्निया रोग में भी यह आसन लाभदायक माना गया है।
