अनुच्छेद(25-28) के अंतर्गत धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार वर्णित हैं, जिसके अनुसार नागरिकों को प्राप्त है-।

इसे कम-से-कम हर किसी के जीवन के अधिकार यानी जीविका और सुरक्षा के अधिकार, स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार अर्थात् दासता से मुक्ति, व्यक्तिगत सम्पत्ति के अधिकार और औपचारिक समानता के अधिकार को मान्यता देनी चाहिए।
