सिलिन्डरों Meaning in English

सिलिन्डरों शब्द का अंग्रेजी अर्थ : cylinders

सिलिन्डरों इसके अंग्रेजी अर्थ का उदाहरण

Three cylinders were used because there was insufficient room for two cylinders large enough to develop the required tractive effort without going up to a higher boiler pressure.

As the cranks of the three cylinders were set at 120 degrees in relation to each other, perfect balancing of the reciprocating parts was secured.

The most common Mechanical Presses use an eccentric drive to move the press's ram slide, length of stroke or slide travel depends on the crankshaft or eccentric, whereas hydraulic cylinders are used in hydraulic presses.

B16/2 Introduced 1937, LNER rebuild of B16/1 by Nigel Gresley with Walschaerts valve gear on the outside cylinders and Gresley conjugated valve gear on the inside cylinder.

As the tension increases, the V-groove wedges over flanges on the circular parts to be assembled, providing the force that holds the ends of the two cylinders together.

The main modification to the original GCR Robinson Class 8K 2-8-0 design was the incorporation of a standard LNER 100A boiler, Walschaerts valve gear and new cylinders.

Details such as the boiler, the two-cylinders and valve gear were standardised between the classes, although a taper boiler was used on the S15 and N15 classes, as opposed to the parallel boiler of the H15 class.

Other modifications included the lengthening of valve travel, and fitting larger outside steam pipes to streamline the flow of steam into the cylinders.

The standardisation centred largely around the B1 boiler, which had been developed from that on the B17, 20" cylinders (a layover from the original A1 class's outside cylinders/K2 Cylinders, but with 10" piston valves), and a range of standard wheel sizes (among them 5'8", 6'2" and 6'8").

They retained three cylinders, but with divided drive and 3 independent sets of Walschaerts valve gear.

As a result, the outside cylinders were placed behind the front bogie with the inside cylinder well forward.

Divided drive, although it did reduce the total stress/strain on the centre crank axle, did not lend itself to frame integrity, especially coupled with connecting rods of equal length, as the greatest point of rigidity in the frame structure itself, the cylinders, were no longer lined up.
