जपुजी का आरम्भ 'मूलमंत्र' से होता है, उसके बाद इसमें ३८ और पद हैं, और अन्त में 'शलोक' (श्लोक) है।

शिवदासरचित 'पंचविंशति' में कथाएँ अधिकतर गद्य में वर्णित हैं, परंतु बीच-बीच में उसे श्लोकों के उद्धरणों से परिपुष्ट किया गया है।
