श्रावण पूर्णिमा को दक्षिण भारत में नारयली पूर्णिमा व अवनी अवित्तम, मध्य भारत में कजरी पूनम, उत्तर भारत में रक्षा बंधन और गुजरात में पवित्रोपना के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
