अधिक मेधावी लड़के की मानसिक आयु उसकी वास्तविक आयु से अधिक होती है जब कि एक बोदे लड़के की कम बुद्धिलब्धि निकालने की निम्नलिखित रीति है (मान लिया कि लड़के की मा.आ. 12 तथा वा.आ. 10 वर्ष की है)।
