इस प्रकार के जलकलिलों में कुछ धात्वीय आक्साइडें या हाइड्रॉक्साइडें, कुछ अविलेय फ़ास्फ़ेट, मॉलिब्डेट, टंग्स्टेट इत्यादि हैं।

"" टाइटेनियम, ज़िर्कोनियम, थोरियम, क्रोमियम, मॉलिब्डेनम, टंग्सटन, यूरेनिय, बैनेडियम आदि दुर्लभ धातुओं के यौगिकों पर बर्ज़ीलियस ने विस्तृत कार्य किया।

टंग्स्टन में बहुसंयोजकता का गुण है।

टंग्स्टन के साथ थोड़ी मात्रा में मिलाने पर बिजली के अच्छे तापदीप्त तंतु (incandescent filaments) बनते हैं।

इस क्रिया द्वारा सोडियम टंग्स्टेट, (Na2WO4), बनता है ओर लौह, मैंगनीज आदि अपने कार्वोनेटों में परिणत हो जाते हैं।

इनमें से कुछ निम्नलिखित हैं : ज़िंक ऑक्सइड; ज़िंक चूर्ण अ ज़िंक ऑक्साइड, ज़िंक अ ताम्र ऑक्साइड, ज़िंक ऑक्साइड अ रजत ऑक्साइड; ज़िंक ऑक्साइड अ यूरेनियम ऑक्साइड; ज़िंक-क्रोमियम ऑक्साइड, बेसिक ज़िंक ऑक्साइड और बेसिक ज़िंक ऑक्साइड अ कैडमियम कारबोनेट, या ताम्र-क्रोमियम आक्साइड, या ज़िंक मैंगेनेट या टंग्स्टेट, या यूरेनेट, या मेलिब्डेट, या वैनेडेट।

इन प्रारम्भिक संसूचकों के चालन में काफी असुविधायें थीं - टंग्स्टन के बने तंतु को गैलेना (लेड समल्फाइड) या कार्बोरन्डम (सिलिकॉन कार्बाइड) क्रिस्टल के आसपास तब तक हिलाना पडता था जब तक की वो अचानक ही काम ना करना शुरू कर दे! उस समय इनके परिचालन प्रणाली के बारे में पता नही था।

शीलाइट अयस्क में प्रधानत:- कैल्सियम टंग्स्टेट, (Ca WO4), रहता है और वोल्फ्रेमाइट में लौह तथा मैंगनीज टंग्स्टेट, (FeWO4. Mn WO4), का संमिश्रण रहता है।

टंग्स्टन मिश्रित इस्पात बहुत से विशेष कार्यों में उपयोगी सिद्ध हुआ है।

ऊपर दिए हुए विश्लेषण से यदि किसी तत्व की मात्रा अधिक हो, अथवा इस्पात में दूसरे तत्व, जैसे निकल, क्रोमियम, वैनेडियम, टंग्स्टन, मालिब्डीनम, टाइटेनियम आदि भी हों, जो सामान्यत: इस्पात में नहीं होते, तो विशेष या मिश्र धात्वीय इस्पात बनता है।

सन् 1781 में शेले (Scheele) नामक वैज्ञानिक ने यह सिद्ध किया कि इसके अयस्क में नवीन अम्ल वर्तमान है, जिसे उसने टंग्स्टिक अम्ल कहा।

(6) कार्बोलाय (Carboloy) - यह टंग्स्टन कार्बाइड तथा कोबल्ट की मिश्रधातु है।
