जलवाष्प हिंदी उपयोग और उदाहरण

साधारणत: वायुमंडल में जलवाष्प-मात्रा संतृप्त मात्रा से कम होती है, विशेषकर भूतल के समीप जहाँ वायुमंडल का प्रभावकारी आतपन अधिकतम होता है।

यहाँ तक कि अधिक ऊपर उठने से वायु का ताप उस अंक तक पहुंच जाता है, जहाँ वायु जलवाष्प धारण कर सकती है।

यान्त्रिकी पानी की गैसीय अवस्था या जलवाष्प को भाप (steam) कहते हैं।

स्वास्थ्य के लिए वायु में कुछ अंश जलवाष्प का होना परम आवश्यक है।

जब वायु का ताप ओसांक से नीचे गिर जाता है, तब जलवाष्प पानी की बूँदों अथवा ओलों के रूप में धरातल पर गिरने लगता है।

प्रति घन सेंटीमीटर हवा में जितना मिलीग्राम जलवाष्प विद्यमान है, उसका मान हम रासायनिक आर्द्रतामापी से निकालते है, किंतु अधिकतर वाष्प की मात्रा को वाष्पदाव द्वारा व्यक्त किया जाता है।

इससे भी कम ताप हो जाने पर, जलवाष्प जलकणों में परिवर्तित हो जाता है।

इनकी उत्पत्ति प्रायः उष्ण वाताग्र पर होती है, जहाँ उष्ण वायुराशि अपेक्षाकृत ठंडी वायुराशि के संपर्क में आकर उस पर चढ़ने लगती है, यह आरोहण झटके से न होकर धीरे धीरे ढालू पथ पर होता है, परिणामस्वरूप उसकी जलवाष्प विस्तृत क्षैतिज क्षेत्रफल पर एकसमान रूप से फैले हुए बादल बनाती है।

साथ ही इनके ऊपर से जाने वाली हवाएँ गर्म होकर अधिक जलवाष्प ग्रहण कर लेती हैं जिससे उनसे पर्याप्त वर्षा होती है।

जलवाष्प द्वारा शोषण अन्य गैसों के शोषणों के योग की अपेक्षा लगभग दूना होता है।

वायु में मिला जलवाष्प शीतल पदार्थों के संपर्क में आने से संघनन (condensation) के कारण ओसांक तक पहुंचता है।

ऑर्किड जैसे उपररोही पौधे अपने वायवीय मूलों द्वारा वायुमंडलीय जलवाष्प को ग्रहण करते हैं।

इनसे गैस व जलवाष्प निकला करते हैं गंधक युक्त धुआंरो को सोलफतारा कहा जाता है।
