चुम्बकीय-ध्रुव हिंदी उपयोग और उदाहरण

1984 में जन्मे लोग षट्ध्रुवी चुम्बक (Sextupole magnet या hexapole magnet) में ६ चुम्बकीय ध्रुव होते हैं जो एक अक्ष के परितः (around) उत्तर-दक्षिण-उत्तर-दक्षिण-उत्तर-दक्षिण ध्रुव के क्रम में होते हैं।

इसका अर्थ यह है कि अगर हम दोनों चुम्बकीय ध्रुवों से एक सीधी रेखा खींचे तो यह पृथ्वी के मध्य बिन्दु से होकर नहीं जायेगी।

चुम्बकत्व विद्युतचुम्बकत्व के सन्दर्भ में, किसी चुम्बकीय पदार्थ में मौजूद स्थायी चुम्बकीय द्विध्रुव आघूर्ण अथवा प्रेरित चुम्बकीय द्विध्रुव आघूर्ण को चुम्बकन (magnetisation) अथवा 'चुम्बकीय ध्रुवण' (magnetic polarization) कहते हैं।

इस पहिए की परिधि पर एकान्तर क्रम से चुम्बकीय ध्रुव लगे होते हैं (अर्थात N-S-N-S आदि)।

पदार्थों में लौहविद्युत स्वभाव दिखने से पहले वैज्ञानिक लौहचुम्बकत्व देख चुके थे जिसमें लौहचुम्बकी पदार्थ अपने-आप ही उत्तर और दक्षिणी चुम्बकीय ध्रुव बना लेते हैं।

उत्तर चुम्बकीय ध्रुव की अवस्थिति में समय के साथ बदलाव का कारण पृथ्वी की बाह्यक्रोड में होने वाले चुम्बकीय परिवर्तन हैं।

पृथ्वी के उत्तर व दक्षिण चुम्बकीय ध्रुवों को चुम्बकीय गर्त ध्रुव भी कहते हैं क्योंकि इन बिन्दुओं पर चुम्बकीय क्षेत्र रेखाओं में उर्ध्वाधर 'गर्त' होता है।

इसका दक्षिणी गोलार्ध का समकक्ष दक्षिण चुम्बकीय ध्रुव है।
