सूक्ष्म सुराकर्मशालाओं माइक्रोउअरी, अथवा शिल्प सुराकर्मशाला एक प्रकार की आधुनिक सुराकर्मशाला है जो सीमित मात्रा में बियर का उत्पादन करता है।

जहाँ फ्रेडरिक विंस्लो टेलर कारखाने में कर्मशाला स्तर पर श्रेष्ठतम कार्य पद्धति की रचना करने, दिन का उचित कार्य, विभेदात्मक मजदूरी प्रणाली, एवं क्रियात्मक फोरमैनशिप के रूप कार्य करने में क्रांति लाने में सफल रहा वहीं हेनरी फेयॉल ने समझाया कि प्रबंधक का क्या कार्य है एवं इसे पूरा करने के लिए किन सिद्धान्तों का पालन किया जाएगा।

एक प्रकार की सूक्ष्म सुराकर्मशाला है जिसमें छोटे-छोटे शराबघर या दुसरे भोजनालय अंतर्मुक्त हैं।

टाइरोल की धातुकर्मशाला में सिजिसमंड फ्यूगर (Sigismund Fugger) से इन्होंने बहु कुछ सीखा और फिर ये जर्मनी, फ्रांस, बेलजियम, इंग्लैंड, स्कैडिनेविया, इटली, रूस और कुछ पूर्वीय देशों में भी सैलोनी की तरह घूम घूमकर रसविद्या का अनुभव प्राप्त करते रहे।

ऐसे अड्डों में तैरती कर्मशाला (workshop), भंडार, सब प्रकार के वाहक, छोटे जलयानों के लिए डॉक का काम करनेवाले लघु जहाज, स्नेहकयान, सुख सुविधा के सामानवाले जहाज, जिनमें सुराशालाएँ भी सम्मिलित हैं, आदि होते थे।

मद्यनिर्माण उद्योग एक वैश्विक व्यापार है, जिसमें अनेक प्रभावी बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियां हजारों की संख्या में छोटे उत्पादक शराब की भट्टियों से शुरू कर आंचलिक सुराकर्मशालाओं तक शामिल हैं।

बियर बनाने के लिए निर्धारित ईमारत को सुरकर्मशाला कहलाती है हालांकि बियर को घर में भी बनाया जा सकता है और इसका एक लम्बा इतिहास भी रहा है।

औद्योगीकरण के पूर्व कर्मशाला ही निर्माण की प्रमुख जगह हुआ करती थी।

बियर की एक भट्टी की उत्पादन अधिकाधिक मात्रा के आधार पर सूक्ष्म सुराकर्मशाला का क्षेत्र और अधिकार के द्वारा वर्गीकरण किया जा सकता है।

आज, शराब बनाने का उद्योग एक वैश्विक व्यापार है, जिसमें कई प्रभावशाली बहुराष्ट्रीय कम्पनियां तथा हजारों की संस्था में छोटे-छोटे निर्माता किण्डवन कर्मशालाओं से लेकर आंचलिक शराब की भट्ठियां तक शामिल हैं।

कर्मशालाओं सहित चार मंजिला भवन का उद्घाटन दिसंबर, 1967 में भारत के तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति डॉ. जाकिर हुसैन के कर-कमलों से हुआ।

वही व्यावसायिक जातियाँ अपना पूरा दिन कर्मशालाओं में बिताते थे।
