उत्तरोत्तर घटती तरंग के अनुसार ये हैं रेडियो तरंगें, अवरक्त (इन्फ्रारेड) रश्मियाँ, प्रकाश, पराकासनी (अलट्रावायलेट) रश्मियाँ, एक्स किरण और रेडियम से निकलनेवाली रश्मियाँ।
