यूआईडीएआई, सभी संबंधित कारकों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, यह भी निर्णय लिया है कि निवासियों के सभी तीन बायोमेट्रिक विशेषताओं जैसे चेहरा, सभी दस उंगलियों के निशान और दोनों आईरिस छवियां नामांकन प्रक्रिया के दौरान यूआईडीएआई प्रणाली में एकत्रित की जाएंगी।

इन सबूतों में रक्त के चिह्न, लार, शरीर का अन्य कोई तरल पदार्थ, बाल, उंगलियों के निशान, जूते तथा टायरों के निशान, विस्फोटक, जहर, रक्त और पेशाब के ऊतक आदि सम्मिलित हो सकते हैं।

पासपोर्ट अनुरोधों के दौरान ब्राजील के नागरिकों को उनके हस्ताक्षर, फोटो और 10 उंगलियों के निशान एकत्र रूप में देने होंगे।

यूआईडीएआई ने चेहरा, उंगलियों के निशान और आईरिस के लिए समिति द्वारा सुझाए गए मानकों और सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं को स्वीकार कर लिया है।
