अंडोत्सर्ग (ovulation) भी शीघ्र होने लगता है।

रज:स्राव के पंद्रहवें दिन डिंबग्रंथि से अंडोत्सर्ग (ovulation) होने पर पीत पिंड (Corpus Luteum) बनता है तथा इसके द्वारा मिर्मित स्रावों (प्रोजेस्ट्रान) तथा ओस्ट्रोजेन के प्रभाव के अंतर्गत गर्भाशय अंत:कला में परिवर्तन होते रहते हैं।

(1) वृद्धिकाल : रज:स्राव के समाप्त होने पर गर्भाशय कला के पुन: निर्मित हो जाने पर यह गर्भाशयकला वृद्धिकाल प्रारंभ होता है तथा अंडोत्सर्ग (ovulation) तक रहता है।

मादाएँ मिथुनीकरण के मौसम में तीन सप्ताह में तीन बार अंडोत्सर्ग कर सकती हैं और ढाई वर्षीय मादाओं में से ८०% गर्भवती नजर आती हैं।
